Living with Diabetes

Living with diabetes is a challenge and one that requires attention to specific aspects of health on a daily basis. Self-care is important in order to reduce complications that can arise when blood glucose levels are not managed well.


Almost every person with diabetes will feel overwhelmed, at one time or another, by the challenge of self-care. You are not alone. Your healthcare team, support network, and diabetes support groups are available to help you get through the trying times, as well as the day-to-day management. Many people can, and do cope with this challenge.
